Excel K-9 Services

Excel K-9 provides comprehensive K-9 unit services. We specialize in assisting departments who are begining a K-9 unit for the first time. We are available to assist your agency in selecting the handler by interviewing candidates with your departments administration. We will also assist your department in preparing a comprehensive K-9 Unit Policy and Procedure, as well as a thourough record keeping system. We will then begin the search for right dog for your community. Our thourough testing program will examine the prospective dogs work drives, temperment, sociablity and health. Once the dog and handler are selected, we will personally introduce the dog to its new handler and the handler's family. Since the police service dog will soon become a member of the new handlers's family, Excel K-9 Services finds great value in ensuring a positive introduction and overall experience for both the family and the dog.

We work closely with the handler and the dog to train them as a highly effective team.
